Student studying on laptop

We've set up extra pop-up library study spaces across the University campus for the busy exam and assessment period in Easter term. This is to support you finding a study space while Bill Bryson Library and our other sites are at their busiest. It also gives you increased flexibility with location – so there is always somewhere nearby.

Locations and availability

Please check the availability dates and times below carefully. Some rooms are available during the exam periods, and you may find them suitable spaces to use to sit an online exam.

You can download a copy of our study spaces map which includes all our Library study space sites as well as the locations of our pop-up study spaces for Easter term.

Things you need to know

  • All the rooms should be considered individual, quiet study spaces, with minimal conversation. Please leave them clean and tidy, ready for the next students.
  • Come ready charged! Most of the desks do not have power to them - if you intend to work on a laptop, please make sure it is fully charged before you visit. The University Wi-Fi network is available within the buildings.
  • These spaces will be self-service areas – should you have any queries whilst you are there, you can contact the Library through our live chat service.
