The IAS has established a writing group for Durham academics and current IAS Fellows and IAS Associate Fellow who want to spend undisturbed time focusing on their papers, books, grants, talks, and other creative activities.

In Easter Term, the group will be meeting every Friday, starting 02 May 2025, in Hatfield College SCR Dining Room. For directions, report to the Porter's Lodge.
The format will alternate between working in silence and sociable breaks for coffee and lunch. The space will be held the whole day, but participants can leave at any point.
