Durham University is investing £5 million over four years in JusTN0W through Durham’s Strategic Research Fund (SRF), which aims to stimulate significant growth in research income for the University through substantial investments in our research community, capability and infrastructure.
Our vision is to lead in enabling just transitions and to harness novel interdisciplinary research and global partnerships. Our delivery plan outlines how we are achieving our goals in order to position Durham at the forefront of a cutting-edge twinning of green and digital transitions.

The JusTN0W Team at the Centre for Sustainable Development Law and Policy, in collaboration with the European Centre for Just Transition Research and Impact-Driven Transfer at Martin Luther University, Germany, is hosting the JusTN0W Second International Conference on 9th and 10th of October 2025.
