ELEVATE-ProClima began in April 2025 and brings together researchers from Durham University, the University of São Paulo and the State University of Rio de Janeiro. The project examines how international climate governance can strengthen evidence-informed national policymaking, focusing on the role of UNFCCC COPs in connecting international commitments with domestic policy. It explores how evidence from the Paris Agreement’s first Global Stocktake has informed NDCs 3.0, including gender-responsive climate policies.
