The Voting is Over and the Results Are In!!! DRMC's Picturing Research Competition

Durham Research Methods Centre are pleased to be able to announce the winners of the first Picturing Research Competition 2023!!

We would like to thank everyone for entering their pictures into the competition. We were really pleased with the number of entries received and the standard of the work was outstanding!

 

The Award categories and winners are as follows:

  • Panel vote: Research Staff category               Winner – Entry 12 – “Cattle at night, Kisumu, Kenya.” By Hannah Brown Cattle in a dark and rainy street in Kenya 
  • Panel vote: Postgraduate category                Winner – Entry 15 – “Mom says I must bring water.” By AFSANA Afrin Esha Child in Bangledesh sat with a water urn and green bottle
  • Public vote: Research Staff category              Winner – Entry 4 – “Discovering the past.” By Marta Diaz-Guard aminoPeople with torches looking at Excavation
  • Public vote: Postgraduate category               Winner – Entry 20 – “Arts of Protest and the Indian Citizenship Act in Contemporary Urban Kolkata (Eastern India).” By Dilshad HossainChild holding a poster.

 

The winners will receive a £50 voucher each!
