Biography
My research interests lie in fish ecology and evolution, and understanding the impacts of environmental change on ecosystems and ecosystem services.
I am currently undertaking my PhD, funded by the DurhamARCTIC research group and with supervision across the Bioscience and Geography Departments. My thesis is exploring the diversity and adaptability of populations of Arctic charr, the world’s most northernly distributed freshwater fish species. The project integrates genetic, morphological and biomarker analysis to understand the capacity of populations and sub-populations of Arctic charr to respond to environmental change.
