Zheng Wang
Biography
Zheng Wang is a music theorist and pianist. He studied at the Sichuan Conservatory of Music and the University of York, earning a Bachelor degree in Piano Performance (2018), a Master of Arts degree in Music Theory and Analysis (2021) and a second Master of Arts degree in Musicology. In 2022, he served as a teaching assistant at the Sichuan Conservatory of Music. During his studies in China, he gained a broad understanding of Soviet-Russian and Chinese musical form theories. His research interests primarily focus on tonal music and musical form, and he has recently been interested in schema theory as well.
