Throughout the autumn term, Careers and Enterprise ran three successful sector-specific fairs – STEM, Law, and Business, Finance & Consultancy – each attracting over 1,000 students. These vibrant and engaging afternoons were marked by dynamic exchanges, with employers managing throngs of enthusiastic students, keen to connect, ask questions, and be inspired. The energy and interest shown by attendees highlighted the value of in-person engagement and the appetite for meaningful career conversations.
The Summer Careers Fair will build on this momentum and is open to employers from all sectors, particularly those whose graduate opportunities fall outside the core sectors typically represented in our autumn fairs or who offer alternative career paths. It is ideal for organisations whose recruitment windows open early and who are offering graduate roles, internships, placements, or insight opportunities in areas such as:
This Summer Careers Fair provides a valuable opportunity to raise your profile, promote your early careers opportunities, and connect with a diverse and motivated student community in a welcoming and well-supported environment.
Please note: The fair is open to Durham University students only, including current students and recent graduates.
Booking information will be added in early 2026.
