Summer Congregation 2026: welcoming Durham's newest alumni

Thousands of students celebrated the culmination of their Durham journey during Summer Congregation 2026. Our Vice-Chancellor and Warden, Professor Karen O’Brien and Chancellor Dr Fiona Hill joined them to celebrate their achievements in Durham Cathedral.

This summer's cohort have now joined our global community of more than 230,000 alumni and supporters, connected not only by their time in Durham but by shared values, experiences and ambitions.
