International Orientation Day 2026

All new international students are encouraged to attend our International Orientation Day, taking place on Friday 25 September, 9am–5pm in the Teaching and Learning Centre.

This event has been designed to help new international students settle into life at Durham University and prepare you for a successful start to your studies in 2026.

Throughout the day, you will have the opportunity to learn about a wide range of essential services and support available to you, including:

• Student Support Services
• Finance and budgeting guidance
• Fraud awareness 
• GP and doctor registration
• Academic skills 
• University resources and much more

Your College staff will accompany you to the event on the day.

This is a valuable opportunity to gain important information, ask questions, and meet fellow international students as you begin your journey at Durham.
