Tanja Orning, a Norwegian cellist, composer, and researcher, presents a programme performed on the Hardanger cello, a rare folk instrument with sympathetic strings that create a distinctive and resonant sound. The program features a combination of works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Norwegian folk music, and contemporary compositions, including a new piece by the composer Eric Egan, Associate Professor of Composition at Durham University.
