The New Winter Songbook is a collection of twenty-one songs for voice and piano by a diverse range of living British composers, featuring contemporary musical settings and lyrical responses to the winter season. The songs were commissioned and recorded in 2025 and released as a double disc album in November of that year. Established British composers rub shoulders with up and coming new voices within this compelling, lyrical and highly engaging programme performed by soprano Rebecca Lea and pianist Caroline Jaya-Ratnam.
