Charters and Regulations

The Library and Collections department provides support to all members of Durham University. Our collections, services and expertise are available to assist with education and research. These are also available to the wider community and are a real asset to the University and the city of Durham.  

Our Charter sets out what you can expect from us and what we expect from you. Please also refer to the University Library Regulations (Regulation XII) and IT Facilities Regulations (Regulation XI).
