Continued Professional Development

We provide tailored training programmes, in person and online, that equips policymakers and institutions with the tools to:

• Analyse international legal requirements for national policy-making, including Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) and
• Long-Term Low Greenhouse Gas Development Strategies (LT-LEDS) as required by the Paris Agreement
• Align national climate strategies and actions with NDCs and LT-LEDS
• Strengthen compliance with Paris Agreement requirements, including:
  • Biennial Transparency Reports (BTRs)
  • National Inventory Reports (NIRs), Article 6 reporting
  • National Adaptation Plans
• Develop robust Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification (MRV) systems
• Analyse, draft, and validate climate policies, strategy documents and reports against international frameworks
• Leverage Article 6 mechanisms and other tools to mobilise public and private climate finance
• Facilitate stakeholder discussions
• Support the preparation of policy briefs
