Employer Engagement in Autumn 2026

Michaelmas Term is one of the busiest and most effective times of year for employers to engage with Durham students. As students begin to consider their next steps, there is strong interest in graduate roles, internships, placements, vacation schemes and other early-career opportunities.

Employers can book activities throughout the term, including presentations, skills sessions, workshops, panel discussions and other employer-led events. These activities offer a valuable opportunity to raise your organisation’s profile, share insight into your sector and recruitment process, and meet students who may be considering a future with your organisation.

Whether you are looking to promote a specific recruitment programme, build awareness of your organisation, give students practical employability advice or create a more interactive session, our Careers & Enterprise team can help you plan an activity that is relevant and engaging for students.
