If selected to go on an exchange by Durham, the Global Opportunities Team will nominate you to the partner. After your nomination is confirmed, you will need to apply to the partner to register with them.
Students should take 50 credits per semester (100 for a full year). 50 PUC credits are equivalent to 30 ECTS.
The following course restrictions apply:
International students must have a good level of Spanish language ability. Students whose mother tongue is not Spanish must have B2 level (according to CEFR) of Spanish proficiency at the time of applying and provide a certificate of proficiency.
If selected to go on an exchange by Durham, you will need the following documents:
PUC has a student support centre, offering services including: Psychological Support Unit, Student Health and Support Center for Academic Performance and Vocational Exploration. In addition it lists practical information such as computer rooms, recreational areas, photocopiers, and campus maps.
UC Chile does not have university owned or arranged accommodation however they do provide information and links to housing providers. Homestays provide an alternative option whereby you live with a local family.
