Important Notice: Programme Requirements and Withdrawal

Continued participation in the Laidlaw Programme is dependent on scholars fulfilling all mandatory requirements.

 These requirements include, but are not limited to:

• Attending required research, leadership and Oxford Character Project sessions
• Completing the research and Leadership-in-Action periods within the stipulated dates
• Submitting all required outputs, forms and reflections by the stated deadlines
• Participating in required conferences, events and cohort activities
• Maintaining appropriate communication with the Durham Laidlaw Team
• Complying with University policies, travel requirements and standards of conduct
• Meeting the obligations set out in the Scholar AgreementScholar Agreement

The Durham Laidlaw Team reserves the right to withdraw a scholar's place where they have not completed the required elements of the programme, have repeatedly failed to engage, or have not complied with the terms of the Scholar Agreement. 

Any decision should be made in accordance with the Scholar Agreement and relevant University procedures, taking account of individual circumstances and any agreed reasonable adjustments.
