Summer and winter schools offer the opportunity to gain an international experience for a short period of time, typically 4 - 6 weeks.
There are a number of short term opportunities offered by our partner universities. Most programmes are offered in English, however, there are a number where you can study in a foreign language.
Typically summer opportunities are advertised from January onwards.
For most summer schools there is a fee to the provider however there are a small number where we, in conjunction with the partner, are able to offer lower or no-fee places. These are offered via a competitive application process and the opportunities will be listed on our xxxx page.
The Global Opportunities team will provide guidance where possible for fee paying short-term opportunities, however the onus would be on the student to complete any necessary application. All fees and costs are payable by the student to the partner directly. Independent summer schools are not eligible for Turing funding.
Please let us know if you make an application, or if you have any feedback on a summer programme you have attended.
