Accommodation - Undergraduates 2025 Entry

After you have received your preliminary college membership allocation, you will be contacted about University accommodation. An Accommodation form was sent in June to all those that have listed Durham as their Firm or Insurance choice.

Steps to Take

• Receive communication with a link to the Undergraduate College Accommodation Form
• Complete all steps confirming Yes or No to whether you wish to receive an offer of University accommodation

All new first year undergraduates are guaranteed an offer of accommodation from the University.

The deadline to submit the Accommodation Application Form is 2pm on Monday 14 July 2025. The Accommodation Application Form will remain live after the deadline of 14 July.

If you complete the Accommodation Application after the deadline date you will be at risk of college reallocation in order to make an offer of accommodation.

We make every attempt for you to remain with the college you have preliminary membership with where possible, however this may not be possible in all cases. Further details regarding August Confirmation and college reallocations can be found here.

If you are confirmed in a college that is not your preliminary membership allocation, your offer of accommodation from the University will also change. 

You will receive an accommodation offer, known as a Licence Agreement. A deadline date will be provided to accept the offer. You must make a payment of Advanced Rent to secure the accommodation.
