Important Notice for Undergraduate Applicants – UCAS Results Embargo

During the UCAS results embargo period, Durham University is subject to strict regulations governing the handling of examination results and admissions decisions.

As a result, between 28 July and 13 August 2026, there will be some enquiries that the College Membership and Accommodation Office is unable to respond to until the embargo has been lifted. This includes any enquiries where responding could reveal, imply or infer information about your examination results or admissions decision.

We will continue to respond to all enquiries that we are permitted to answer during this period. If we are unable to respond to your enquiry because of the embargo, we will do so as soon as possible after the embargo ends.

We appreciate your patience and understanding while these restrictions are in place and apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
